Japanese Class

Hello!

I am Kayoko Kobayashi, the Japanese teacher at JIES.

I would like to let you know what Grade 2 students learned in my class.

Japanese class comments will be written bi-weekly.

Grade 2 started their Japanese class with the poem Tampopo (dandelion).

On their first reading day, Almost every student memorized that poem and said it without reading the textbook!

This week we've got a new friend in Grade 2, so they practiced how to introduce themselves in Japanese, too.
